Movement Playscapes with Karlovsky and Company Dance
Movement Playscapes merges somatic movement practices with guided exploration and easeful contact improvisation (CI). These classes create a welcoming and playful environment for movers of all types to connect through the joy of movement play. Together, we will explore movement that wakes up our senses, deepens awareness, and helps us discover how our bodies can respond and connect with one another. Be prepared to move, reflect, open to creative flow, and experiment with new ways of moving that are embodied and intentional. Enjoy the luxury of moving together in a safe and supportive environment, where every ‘body’ is welcomed and celebrated. Playscapes is guided by Dawn Karlovsky, founder and director of Karlovsky & Company Dance and somatic educator of the Alexander Technique, and Kade Stotler, Acupuncture Medicine and movement professional.
