Dance is a universal language and each performance on this exciting Trainee Season will celebrate the vibrancy of their community connections, artistic values, commitment to continued education, and multidisciplinary collaborations.
Ballet 314: WIP
WIP 314 is a choreographic incubator designed to support Ballet 314 dancers in developing original work. Through structured rehearsal time, mentorship from artistic and production staff, and creative space, the program emphasizes experimentation and professional growth. The project concludes with a public “Works-In-Progress" showing.

Kode Redd Dance: Y2KR
This year Kode Redd wanted to celebrate the late 90s and early 2000s. This was not only the beginning of a new century but the start of a music sound that would forever change the way we jammed. With choreography from Jasmine Spencer, Redd Williams, MJ Imani, and AJ. The Kode Redd Commercial Hip Hop Dance company will take you on a nostalgic ride into Y2K. So if you love hip hop, great dance, and just an overall good time, you definitely want to make sure you’re in the building.

Premiered in 2009 and last performed in 2022, this beloved ballet will be revived with the local debut of stunning sets and costumes by renowned British designer Peter Farmer. Featuring the full cast of Saint Louis Ballet, this magical production brings the classic fairy tale to life with elegance, humor, and breathtaking choreography.
RESILIENCE Dance Company: Spring Concert
RDC is thrilled to present an original, double-bill performance featuring new work by Emily Haussler in collaboration with RESILIENCE Dance Company and Hot Crowd, a Chicago-based modern company. Both works will premiere in St. Louis, then go on tour for a second performance series in Chicago.

Show alert! Add Space Station’s upcoming fundraising show to your calendar! Their goal for this production is to make $2500 to go towards their upcoming summer residency.
What is “Run it Back?” - Space Station alums are making a new mega-piece in response to their years of past-shows. Together, these artists respond to pieces that have affected Space Station’s artistic journey as a way of giving back and helping Space Station raise money for their programming.
These “fundraising” ticket prices are not necessarily fundraising prices, but Space Station makes a point to always make art and dance affordable to all, and these prices are double what is usually charged. There will be a pay-it-forward option when purchasing tickets, and they always accept individual donations. Please message Space Station if you have any questions or would like to donate directly. Seen: STL presented by Resilience Dance Company
Seen: STL is a semi-annual event hosted by RDC that showcases works-in-progress by local, independent dance artists. The goal of Seen is to create space for artistic vulnerability - there are no rules, no budgets, no time requirements, and no genre restrictions. Artists are simply encouraged to share and be seen. Submissions open six - eight weeks prior to the performance.
WashU 2026 MFA Dance Concert
This year’s MFA Dance Concert, featuring the work of our second-year MFA candidates Christopher J. Salango and Lorraine "Rain" Stippec, taps into the power of dance to build communities of care.
Kapwa: Jukebox Rebolusyon, choreographed by Salango, is rooted in the Filipino concept of kapwa—shared identity and interconnectedness. The work explores cross-cultural solidarity through the lens of the 1965 Delano Grape Strike. Drawing from traditional Filipino dances and contemporary forms, and utilizing a soundtrack inspired by Filipino and Chicano jukebox culture, the piece takes audiences on a layered journey of migration, resistance, and communal care. Trauma’s Tapestry, choreographed by Stippec, combines tap dance, contemporary movement, and live painting to explore the embodied impact of PTSD from gun violence. Through rhythm, gesture, and visual art, the versatile cast of performers reflect on trauma, memory, and healing. Together, Salango and Stippec offer an evening of dance that is both personal and urgently relevant, inviting audiences to share an experience of resilience and connection.

Conceived and choreographed by Dawn Karlovsky and guest collaborator Megan Nicely, artistic director of Megan Nicely | Dance (SF Bay Area), the work will be restaged after its St. Louis and SF Bay Area premieres in 2019. SHIFTING TIME returns in 2026, reimagined with fresh depth and perspective.

Collective Pulse: What Moves Us
WHAT MOVES US is the first annual dance concert presented by Collective Pulse. On Saturday, March 14, you will experience a curated dance concert focused on joyful connections, internal reflection, and kinetic emotion. This show is appropriate for all ages with pieces choreographed by Thomas Proctor, Jenny Dyson, Jessy Dyson, and Jeanie Stephenson. Together, we explore themes as they relate to the human experience, such as emotions that inspire us to create change in our life to the comedy found in children's games, through a variety of dance styles including jazz, modern, heels, and dance theater.
TICKETS: $10 online until the Friday, March 13 before the show. $15 at the door. Donations are also accepted! (Venmo QR will be posted)
